Why its hot:

The Babolat Pure Drive Team is a perfect mixture of control and power. The weight of the frame allows for greater racket speed from the baseline, and on the serve, and the stiff frame allows for a firmer impact point. The 100sq. inch head gives the extra two inches needed for greater consistency than other rackets in its class. It's "handle heavy" design allows for greater head speed and is useful for generating that extra kick on the serve. Babolat's woofer technology allows for less tension converted to the forearm when striking the ball, and gives the user more feel when hitting.

Why it's not:

NOT RECOMMENDED FOR BEGINNING JUNIORS. Because of the stiff frame, this racket is a difficult one to use if transiting from a junior 25" or 26" racket. The weight and "handle heavy" feel can be difficult to get used to, and can result in lack of consistency. Because it is 5 points head light, players can develop a tendency to whip their wrist before impact, resulting in greater spin and sometimes power, but much less consistency.
